El VIZCAÍNO Biosphere Reserve

El VIZCAÍNO Biosphere Reserve is honored to be the largest Wildlife sanctuary in all of Latin America. It covers more than 55,555 square kilometers and is located in the middle of the Baja Peninsula between the Pacific and Cortez Sea. In addition to host a large migratory bird populations, the reservation is home to a variety of wildlife, some of which are found in other parts of the world. Visitors here can enjoy the Desert bighorn sheep, mule deer, and Baja California Pronghorn and ocean species such as sea turtles, the Northern Elephant Seals and dolphins. In winter, you can indicate that the migration of gray whales that come here are often born to young people. There are many places around the park, you can stay as it is just as well in the northern and southern Baja. The nearest town is reserved for a small town in Guerrero Negro on the central Pacific coast.
